PEOPLE WHO HELP US

This term in Prep we are learning about "People Who Help Us". We have been watching the builders constructing our new tuckshop and have been making our own coll constructions in Prep. We have been pretending to be Bob the Builder and have even made constructions out of spaghetti and marshmallows. We have been pretending to be teachers, firemen, policemen, chefs, nurses and doctors.

This term we are running our Prep Metalinguistics Awareness Program each Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Parents come along to help with group rotations that teach the children about words, syllables, letters, sounds, sentences and rhyming words.
