The Key Learning Areas of SOSE, Science, The Arts, Technology and HPE are taught through integrated units designed to provide meaningful activities that cater for individual strengths and needs and engage the students throug real life and lif-like activities.
Gracemere State School has a well developed bank of integrate curriculum units available for teachers to access and more units are continually being devised by the teachers and the Head of Curriculum. Curriculum units are rich in The Arts and ICTs with activities that are engaging and hands on.
Pedagogy is inclusive and teachers strive to provide quality learning environments.
The provision of Japanese is delivered as LOTE for Years 6 and 7, and cultural studies for Years 4 and 5.
